Isabel Putinja has been a freelance writer for two decades, penning articles on topics related to travel, art & culture, and food for a variety of international publications. Her passion for olive oil was sparked after her first experience of a harvest and taste of freshly-pressed oil in Croatia in 2013. Since then, she has written 200+ articles on topics related to olive oil and had the chance to meet and write about producers from across the Mediterranean. She has also completed an introductory course in sensory analysis at ONAOO. She lives in a stone house in a tiny hilltop village in Istria, Croatia.
