Robin Catalano is a Solas, SATW, and ASJA Award-winning travel, culture, and food journalist. Her stories have appeared in the New York Times, National Geographic, Travel + Leisure, Washington Post, Smithsonian, Conde Nast Traveler, TIME, AFAR, Hemispheres, Robb Report, Fodor's, Food & Wine, and many more. An honorary Spaniard by marriage, Robin was the summer 2020 Writer-in-Residence at Arrowhead, the historic home of Herman Melville in Pittsfield, Mass. She lives in the Hudson Valley of New York, where she can often be found sipping cider or paddling its lakes and rivers in her inflatable kayak.
